Oleander Guest House is a glorious 100 year old Edwardian house located centrally within the historic suburb of Belgravia in Kimberley. The house has a beautiful garden with our trademark oleander tree, speculated as being the largest oleander tree in South Africa, graciously positioned in the front garden. The old house possesses a specific warmth and charm and has been declared a national heritage building to preserve the beautiful historic character of Kimberley. The house has been carefully renovated over many years to ensure that the true quality of this gracious house contributes to an unforgettable experience for our visiting guests. We invite you to come and experience the friendly, peaceful and relaxed atmosphere of this remarkable guest house where Oleander was awarded the prestigious Lilizella national winner in the five star guest house category in 2015 & 2017. Oleander guest house offers ten luxurious ensuite bedrooms graciously decorated with french-colonial flair. All rooms are stylishly equipped with a flat screen TV with DSTV channels, a comfortable working desk, deluxe linen, a variety of teas and coffee with added comfort of bathrobes and a well-stocked honesty bar. Some of our executive rooms feature a private seating area where you can relax at your own comfort. We offer free Wi-Fi, safe parking and a night-watchman which patrols the premises for added security. Oleander boasts a brand new cosy restaurant on the premises.Laurier Blanc (French for White Oleander) opened its doors in June 2017.The restaurant is stylishly decorated with a touch of French flair and elegance. The visiting guests are welcomed when entering the restaurant through a wine collection passageway leading to the quaint interior, beautifully decorated with chandeliers, long draping curtains and neatly prepared dining tables.A typical French veranda opens from the restaurant with a vineyard pergola and two traditional water features that adds to the overall ambiance, whilst enjoying exceptional food and some good quality wine. We serve lunch and dinner cuisine to our guests. Cool and relaxed in summer and warm in winter with a wood burning stove enhancing the atmosphere.

"It's not often that you arrive at a spot and it looks better than the pictures on the website. The facilities are first class and are only exceeded by the outstanding service of manageresses Martina and Talitha who pay particular attention to one's every need. Probably one of the best guest houses that I've stayed in (and I've stayed in many!). The three course dinner is better than most restaurants."

"We, as a family of three, recently had the good fortune of spending a night at Oleander Guest House. We are from Cape Town and on a road trip to Kruger National Park, secured a booking at Oleander through the Safari Now website as a halfway stopover. Photographs and write-ups regarding hospitality venues on the internet can sometimes be misleading and lead to nasty surprises.Oleander Guest House was everything and more than what we expected. Excellent service with a friendly, personal touch from booking in, the rooms/suites up to the early morning breakfast.Upon departure we immediately reserved another night for our return trip in 2 weeks time.Highly recommended."
