Little Fields Country House

Little Fields Country House offers lovely self-catering accommodation for up to ten people, in a tranquil and scenic setting. There are various bedding options. You can book the family suite with two bedrooms sharing a bathroom in its own wing of the house, for 4 people or book the main house , sleeping 7. With large verandas and sweeping views down the valley, the main house has many seating and entertaining options.In addition there is a self-contained, ground-floor flat sleeping two and has an en-suite with a shower. The flat includes a private entrance,lounge and living area with a DStv-enabled TV and has its own entrance and small garden overlooking the dam. There is a small kitchenette that is fully equipped for self-catering. The outdoor covered braai area is a great place to enjoy a drink while taking in the beautiful countryside. To round off the facilities, there is wireless Internet access so you can still keep in touch with work or friends.The house is located on the Midlands Meander route and located near to popular wedding venues. Hilton, St Anne's, Cordwalles and other schools are all in close proximity. We are a 10-minute drive from Midmar Dam and ideally located for any Midmar Mile swimmers. We are also close to the Midlands Meander Tourist Office. A wetland area and some natural wildlife are located on the grounds, and we offer 360-degree views of wetland, stunning garden and farm lands. As part of your rate, you receive a healthy farm-style breakfast of home made muesli, freshly baked health muffins, yoghurt, seasonal fruit, health breads and homemade jams.

"We were greeted friendly, even though it was late at night and in the rain. The cottage was clean and homey. The kids loved the good quality books and games. We enjoyed the kitchen that was well equipped with milk, tea, coffee and fruit & spices. The muffins in the morning is a nice bonus."

"Little fields is a comfortable cosy stay over for the traveler looking to be close to the N3 but away from the traffic noise. Di, the owner is a perfect hostess and good cook too! The area where this guest house is situated is close to plenty of interesting things to see and do. We enjoyed the beautiful scenery and highly recommend this establishment!"
