"We've received a warm welcome. Then were asked to choose between room 8 & 9. We selected room 9 because it was bigger and much more room than nr 8. Then we went out for supper, when we came back arround 9pm we were told by the guestlady that the owner informed her that we need to stay at Topiary Guesthouse, as we are running the loskop ultra. We were supprized by this move as when we tried to make a bioking there the lady by the name Caren did not want to accept as we were only staying for one night, so she reffered us to this guest house.... Anyway trying to find our way to the Guesthouse we arrived there... and was not happy as the shower looked bad and the whole room smelled like smoke. I was asked to complete a guests check in book and when I complaind about the smell, it landed on deaf ears, I even contacted Caren who's guest house it was and she had a very bad attitude. We've packed up our goods again and went back to The Urn Guesthouse, we've informed the guestlady that she needs to contact the owner Ezette and inform her that we are going back to Room 9 where we booked in the first place. Ezette also did not bother to contact us to tell us in person about her plans for moving us arround. The guest lady informed us that the owner Ezette are aware that we are not staying at her referral. And we were told the reason arround the move was because they have a group of elderly which will come in late and might make a noice. The room it self, was big, with a clean shower. There was no bad smell such as smoke, there was home made biscuits next to self help coffee. There was also bottled water in room with a fridge. And a TV. The only thing I could picked up was the dusbin, as there was still rubbish in it when we entered the room. There is enough mirrors in the room with a TV. Parking is also an issue... The morning of the loskop race we were stucked as someone parked behind us. but the guestlady made an effort to call someone to take me to the race starting point. My husband was forced to stay behind, as the lady who offered me a lifdid not have space in her car for him to accompany me. The move was very inconvenient as well as parking. Kind regards"
