  "Good quality accommodation. Practical. Good and friendly service. Clean rooms.Only issue was that room was booked and payed as a 2 bedroom family unit via Safarinow and the booking on guesthouse's side showed as a 1 bedroom unit. Apparently the problem was at booking site(Safarinow). Maybe Safarinow should look into this as bigger payment was made and we, the guests, had to take the consequences of their apparent mistake."

  "All staff members very friendly and helpful. After a long drive the swimming pool and cold refreshments were most welcome. Food and accommodation could not be faulted. A 'will stay again' establishment."

  "We were sceptical and had agtually planned to stop over in Cradock, but because of the Fish River canoe run everything was fully booked. From the first moment everything was a very pleasant experience: friendly reception who even helped us with some private faxing that needed to be done; lovely comfortable rooms; super grounds with excellent restaurant. In future this wil be our overnight stay of choice ! Perhaps a better devil's fork type fencing between this and the adjacent property would be reassuring: we came fresh from an experience of robbery and the flimsy fence worried us a bit."

  "Excellent stopover. Well received by Maggie. Unfortunately, TV in room allocated out of order. Moved to another room, Number 1, which was also very comfortable, but next to the entrance to the property. This proved to be very noisy, as there were guests returning from a party in the early hours of the morning. We enjoyed a very pleasant dinner - and a hearty breakfast. Staff very obliging. Overall good value for money."

  "This is a delightful lodge in the quiet outskirts of Middleburg. We stayed in one of the Garden Rooms and were really impressed with the overall comfort, cleanliness and quality of the furnishing and sleep quality. The staff were very helpful and professional. Check in was efficient and friendly and we were taken to be shown around the facility and rooms ...breakfast was cute and tasty. All in all a very nice place to overnight."

  "The honeymoon suite was nice and spacious and the bathroom was equally big with a nice tub. The room was neat and tidy and overlooked the pool and garden area. The shower was not great and requires a new shower head.Breakfast is available as packed lunches for those travelling early in the morning. The only downfall there is there is no fridge to keep the food and so we just took water and biscuits but were charged for a full breakfast pack.Service was not great but the staff were friendly."

  "Great value for money. Cozy and luxurious. We would recommend staying over at Celtis. We only stayed over for 2 nights (intermittently) as a pit stop while traveling to our main destination and enjoyed the break thoroughly."
