  "We stayed at Witkrans enroute to The Underberg. We were well impressed with the amenities. A powerful fan provided welcome relief from the heat & any mozzies that were brave enough to venture in. In winter the electric blankets would definitely be a bonus. I was very impressed with spotless & spacious rooms, comfy beds & lovely crisp linen & especially the small details, rusks, tea, coffee & even milk was provided for, not to mention a selection of cereals. Things that I find make a place special is when a thoughtful host leaves peaceful sleep/tabard in the room(There is nothing worse than starting off a holiday covered in nasty itchy mosquito bites) A lovely little oasis for some weary travelers. The kids loved the table tennis & there was darts & a pool table to keep them busy in the communal kitchen. My only very very small gripe is there could be a few extra items in the kitchen: a colander & extra knives but this is so minor its almost not worth mentioning."

  "We had a great one night stop over in a lovely cosy cottage. The beds were SO wonderfully warm while the weather was absolutely freezing outside. Milda and her staff were fantastically helpful when we woke up to a car that wouldn't start from frozen diesel. Our kids were fed and entertained and Milda made us feel very welcome and relaxed in her home while our car thawed out! Thank you Milda, what a lovely stay."

  "What a little gem. If you love rustic, and tranquil, and peace and quiet, this place will suit you perfectly. It has everything you need, and more. The table tennis table, pool table and finger board caused great excitement with our 2 young children! We would love to visit again."

  "Pretty room with lovely linen and all one needs for self catering.<div>Shower takes time to drain and has a little bit of an awkward slope to it. Otherwise lovely and peaceful and one is able to have a relaxed braai outside and enjoy the beautiful Karoo night.</div><div>Braai packs are available from the farm.</div><div>I have recommended Witkrans to friends and would stay there again myself.</div>"

  "Ons het laat gearriveer en was baie tevrede met die huis toe ons daar aankom . Baie netjies , ligte was aan en ons kon lekker koffie en beskuit eet na 'n lang reis . Die volgende oggend weer vroeg in die pad geval en dankie dat julle jul pryse taamlik aangepas het vir mense wat net wou oornag - die ander 10 plekke waar ek kwotasies aangevra het ,het net eenvoudig nie hul pryse aangepas na ek versoek het dat ons net gaan oorslaap .
