  "not as on photos, its dirty and uncomfortable and no privacy, as stated.. need a lot of maintenance and all the drain water just run outside the building, and you get the smell of the toilet drain while in the house, doors cannot lock. very dissapointedwere to can i email the photos"

  "Perhaps in it's heyday, the cottages lived up to the advertising. It is now run down and we had a number of challenges. No gas for the gas heater. Gas stove leaking gas. Bath and stove dirty. Not well equipped with cooking utensils. TV remote battery flat. Cement floors. And so I can go on... Definitely not worth the cost."

  "Sadly lacks sparkle. Comfortable bed that's about the only positive. No information about steep stairways, bathroom in the bedroom, no coffee/tea provided, very dissapointing."

  "Birdsong is a beautiful and very peaceful place for relaxation.I liked the fact that they allow music by the pool, that was pretty cool.<br/>There are a couple of things that we were not quiet happy about though, the drainage system on the shower was not working, so we basically were showing in an ocean since water could not come out of the drain :-(...this was reported a number of times but still nothing was done about it. The 2nd thing that we did not like was the way the caretaker did not allow us any freedom, he basically was breathing down our necks every second he got, he made us feel uncomfortable to do anything. Otherwise the place is very nice if only the 2 above matters can be addressed.<br/>"

  "The cottage was bit smaller than expected and very rustic. However it was clean and tidy. <br />Amenities are all a bit worn out but sufficient and staff were helpful when we asked for assistance.<br />"

  "Our stay for one night in Kingfisher Cottage was very pleasant. We all swam in the pool and went for very nice nature walks. This cottage overlooks a beautiful dam that supports White-faced Duck, Black Crake, Little Grebe and Hamerkop. The cottage was very comfortable and supplied with everything we needed.Both pairs of bedrooms have a bathroom ensuite by both bedrooms having a door leading onto it. It's a novel idea, but needs some managing. The nature trail is very beautiful and we saw zebra, blesbok, impala and klipspringer as well as about 65 bird species including Brown Snake-Eagle and Striped Pipit. Receptionist/ manager William was very helpful and friendly."

  "Our stay was very pleasant and comfortable. A few things were missing and we felt that a more comfortable, sunny outside area would be an idea.William was very helpful and looked after us well."
