  "Went with my wife there for the weekend and we were quite impressed by the establishment and couldn't believe that it is soooo affordable!!! The food and restaurant setup is fantastic.... From an improvement point, not much, just a liiiitle house-keeping as some guests were making noise outside in the early morning hours. Am I going back there? - Hell Yea!!Would I recommend this place to anyone? - I already have!!"

  "The worst service I have ever experienced. I was asked to wash my own dishes after dinner!!! Didn't have any hot water the first night and tried to buy drinks from their bar but was refused service as they no longer accept cards and they told me to go to the neighborhood tarven. Overall not a good experience"

  "The place is welcoming, on the quiet side if the Mogwase area.The was no electricity on the day of arrival and the following day. The establishment has a generator but can't operate unless a specific person is there. Need to connect the generator in such a way that it automatically kicks in when the power goes off.Also, sufficient signage from the main road. It can be frustrating if you don't know where you are going.Otherwise a pleasant stay."

  "It is well located, the rooms are spacious and the place is clean. The guest house is perfect for a family. They could improve on customer service. There was no one at the front desk when I arrived and had to wait a while before getting help. The furniture and walls need attention. The walls are cracked. It was noisy. Other guests were playing music very loud in the parking lot in the morning."

  "Good place to stay if peace and relaxation are <br/>what you are looking for. Beautiful guest house with great facilities. Even better is how close it is to Sun City. Only down side is the breakfast, certainly not worth the amount. Would also love to have seen friendlier staff especially the receptionist who never even smiled upon our arrival. Overall good stay."

  "It is a lovely guest house. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very welcoming, tidy and calming. We only had 2 problems; the air condition that did not work properly, or it is old hence no longer strong to give cool air. There was a fan provided which made our nights uncomfortable as it was noisy, with me sneezing a lot. Their TV has got only 5 channels, I think, if I am not mistaken. But over and above we enjoyed our stay. I wouldn't mind going back there but they need to improve air conditions. I am not really worried about the TV channels but with my friends it was a big issue."

  "<p>The stay was not bad though I was dissapointed here and there. </p><p>On the internet it was mentioned that there is a playground only to find that there is no such. <br></br>The swimming pool is too deep for 5 years olds.<br></br>The DSTV plays 2 channels only , mzansi magic and cartoon network and it looses signal more than it is on. </p><p>I believe when taking kids to a vacation those are priorities which Modizen failed to offer.<br></br></p><p>The onyl people who were friendly were the staff members except the receptionist / manager. <br></br></p><p>I dont think I can recommend anyone with with to go there.<br></br><br></br>Regards,<br></br>Tebogo<br></br></p>"

  "First off the service was extremely slow (understandable so with this heat)<div>Second they mixed up our rooms and then stated that we were not specific in our request.</div><div>Thirdly, there were cables all over the rooms floor, causing one to trip, and I'm sure that it is illegal.</div><div>Fourth, it appeared the place had not been cleaned for a long time.</div><div>Lastly, the second rooms air con was not operational and thus I had to sleep with noisy fans in this heat.</div><div>I certainly would not recommend staying here.</div>"

The servicing staff was excellent however the host/manger was not satisfactory and not so welcoming. The place is beautiful but they just need to improve on their services.   "The pictures on the net are not reality. Could be but sadly not. The guest house was not clean, rooms were not clean and staff were not helpful. If you wish this to be a stay close to Sun City, rather look for another venue as Modizen is not the place.<br></br><b>Establishment's response</b><br></br><i>Good day<br></br>The clients checked in at 10am, honestly one cannot expect the place to be tidy at that time as we clear our breakfast at 10am, so that time is the busiest time of the day, that is why we say Guests should check in at 14h00 so theres no way the Guest House can be 100% tidy by 10am, we have to wait for the check outs, clean up & change linen & be ready for the check-ins. Guests should give us a chance to prepare ourselves & not expect the impossible.Secondly the person who did this comment is not the person who was here, but her teenagers and they seemed happy to me fortunately their room was done by then because the couple who used that room left at 08am that is why we let them use the room even though they were too early.<br></br>Regards<br></br>Zenzi Lekwalo<br></br>Manager<br></br>Modizen Guest House</i>"

  "The facilities are clean and well kept, the rooms are beautifully decorated, from the second floor there is a view to what looks like a Game Reserve but saw no animals (unfortunately), and breakfast was included. What I didn't like is that there is not a person in charged who is capable of dealing with questions and requests. The owner is capable, but unfortunately she wasn't there most of the time. We called her when we arrived because the cook (person apparently in charge) didn't find us in the book of incoming guests and wasn't sure we got the right room.She came and sorted everything out, including guiding us on what to do in town. Then the cook couldn't solve our Wifi request so we called the owner for a second time without answer. In general, Id come back and I hope they get better organized with time."
