Nestling peacefully in the heart of Montagu, recently voted South Africas Favorite Village. Our tastefully restored Victorian Luxury Guest House is set in beautiful park like gardens with a sparkling swimming pool, surrounded by panoramic mountain views.
Amazing sunsets over Kogmans Kloof close the day and herald glorious majestic star lit evenings in the dry Karoo.

A Luxurious honeymoon suite with a four-poster bed Tv, en-suite Victorian bathroom with huge ball and claw bath and separate shower.
The stunning elevated garden-suite with a large and spacious lounge, Tv and fridge, with a sundeck over looking the herb and indigenous gardens and mountains, queen sized bed and bathroom with bath and separate shower.
A spacious twin room with en-suite bath and separate shower. A cosy double room with queen bed and en suite shower set behind the veranda where the morning sun steams in
We will spoil you with our luxurious embroidered cotton percale linen, numerous original works of art, Persian carpets and sweet fragrant fresh flowers.All rooms have hairdryers, fans, heaters and tea/coffee trays.
Enjoy a complimentary muscadel with your hosts Mike and May who will assist you with restuarant bookings and accurate advice onwhat to do in and around Montague to ensure that you enjoy the best our destination has to offer during your vacation with us.

01 November 2011"It is a wonderful location with a great garden and good pool. They serve a fantastic breakfast of toast, cereal, fruit and traditional English; sorry we couldn't manage the muffins as well. The boys enjoyed their upstairs room, lovely comfortable beds and crisp white sheets. Mike and May were super hosts and very knowledgeable about the area. We booked only for a stopover point on a longer journey but it would have been great to have stayed a while longer."

27 June 2008"Our stay at 7 Church Street was fantastic. Our hosts were very helpful and friendly. The accommodation is excellent and set in a great setting close to all amenities whilst still being quiet. The gardens were beautiful. Montagu itself is a small town set amongst hills. There are great walks from Church St and Lovers Walk to the hot springs is simply stunning. I'd love to return to Montagu and wouldn't hesitate in staying at 7 Church Street again. I couldn't fault it. "

The accommodation is excellent and set in a great setting close to all amenities whilst still being quiet. The gardens were beautiful. Montagu itself is a small town set amongst hills. There are great walks from Church St and Lovers Walk to the hot springs is simply stunning. I'd love to return to Montagu and wouldn't hesitate in staying at 7 Church Street again. 12 April 2007"We were overwhelmed at how amazing this guest house was for our stay in April 2007.We booked the elevated garden suite and wished we had stayed longer than 1 night!The accommodation is of an exceptionally high standard with the most amazing views of mountains and extensive gardens which you are invited to enjoy, along with the use of a pool.The hosts are so thoughtful with small touches that mean so much - how many guest houses have you been where a stem of lavendar is stuck to the carefully folded toilet paper prior to your arrival?!The breakfast was excellent and nothing seemed too much trouble.Thank you so much for making our visit to Montagu so special.Debbie and John Soulsby"
