  "The place is in a rather bad area and in a state of disrepair. R700 per night is rather expensive for this type of accommodation. Disappointed. To be fair, the owners allowed us to cancel the second night. They were really very nice."

  "The breakfast was good. The sleeping facility was quite good. The building was not in good repair and welcoming. The behaviour of visitors on the Saturday afternoon left a lot to be desired - the noise level was far, far too high. We paid for our stay, would like to have had a rest but could not."

  "Alan and Sherill are lovely people. Its a charming old house, although does not look so spruced up anymore.Very centrally located, but not in a noisy area. No TV or wi-fi, which is good for some people, but not good if you have teenagers."

  "Liked the secure parking, Home cooked tasty breakfast. I would recommend a look into the plumbing as it was hard to turn the basin taps off and the toilet continuallyslowly leaked water into the bowl."

  "Everything was neat and clean and room serviced. Friendly staff and owners. No TV though in room or lounge and house is needing a bit of maintenance outside. I would definitely go back though!"
