  "We were not able to use the booking as we missed the part where there was a cut off time for booking in. The guest were country singers and radio presenters and when they couldn't book in they had to speed through to Randburg for alternative accommodation. The booking was made at very short notice, and we missed the book on detail. The room was not used at all. What are the chances of a refund?"

  "The guesthouse did not answer the phone when i got lost and tried to phone for directions. The room looked good at first impressions but as time went by we started noticing things like the tea and coffee had not been replaced. Additionally there was a power outage while we were there so was nothing really that we could eat. Also the dishes were not cleared away from previous individuals who had had breakfast and the cutlery not replaced.This establishment has all the makings of a good guesthouse but lacks the service to match."

  "Conveniently situated. Master very helpful and welcoming, although The Cook wasn't friendly at all! Rooms clean and adequate, but could've had bit more cupboard space (if I were to be critical). Driveway is very steep but once you get used to it no problem at all. Will definately use this B&B again next time in Pretoria."

  "My booking at Threebees Guesthouse was the worst experience ever. When booking in I stood for almost 10 minutes, where after I went to search for someone to assist me, as there was no one to be seen at receptions. I will also not recommend it to any person who need a good night's rest after a hectic day. For example at 18:45 they ask me to move my vehicle because someone needs to go out (this was not a big problem to me because I was also on my way), and again they WAKE ME UP at 22:45 to move my vehicle because someone else wants to go out. It's ridiculous. The parking is a big problem. I also need to share a bathroom with others (they told me that I will be the only one to use it), but at about 21:00 the towel in the bathroom was so dirty that it gave me second thoughts. Although they gave me a cold drink after my arrival, and explain the breakfast times, no one tells me where to find some coffee or tea (there was nothing in the room). Next time I need a guesthouse, I will look for another place."

  "I did not enjoy my stay at this guest house, and would not recommend it to anyone. The service was extremely poor. The staff was unfriendly and was chewing gum with an open mouth while trying to find our booking and slouching around the place. The guesthouse lost one of our personal towels, which they did not bother finding or replacing. The parking is a joke. The manager parked right next to our room and was pumping music out of his car. The room was a dingy whole with no real ventilation. The bedding was faded and looked tacky. We had trouble coming in and out of the gate. We had to get hold of the manager to move his vehicle so that we can leave. There was no remote for the TV. The kitchen was badly stocked. The hangers in the cupbourd were bent and looked tacky. The list is ENDLESS. Personally, I would recommend that this place be downgraded. I have stayed in plenty of places, but this one is one of the worst places I have been in in a long time."
