"I couldn't have asked for more. Talk about the feeling of visiting good family you want to see, who you haven't seen for ages. And that is how I would describe Fountains B & B. Warm and inviting from the get go. Accommodation was spacious, clean and tidy, parking was easy. I couldn't ask for more. With the freedom to come and go as you please without feeling like you need to report in. I would definitely tell my friends about the place. I travel to Pietermaritzburg at least once a year, and I will be going back. Central to everything and easy to find is the bonus .The unit I stayed in didn't have a bath. That is the reason behind the lost star. Option to shower and bath would be better. Through no fault of Shirley, I chose the unit with only a shower."

"Shirley and Rob are the best there is. This is not a guesthouse, it's like visiting good old friends. When we arrived back after Comrades the hot water bottles were already filled up and put into our bed. After a nice hot shower Shirley served us with pancakes in bed! It was like coming back to your mother's house. This was my fourth Comrades and this was my best stay ever."
