  "The Chalet was great! The environment was great! Just be warned it's nowhere near where Google maps tells you it is. It's probably admit 30km away. Even if you click on the link on this website there's print a 15km difference. That being said, it's lovely place to chill."

  "Loved the log cabin and fire place. Need to do some general maintenance (tlc) to cabins. The steps to the loft room are very steep and narrow making them non-child friendly. On arrival in winter time, when out of office hours, maybe put a bag of wood outside the cabins as it is very cold without a fire. Remove the scruffy wire enclosures from in front of log cabins, ruins the beautiful view from your patio. The staff could be a little more friendly and interactive with guests. Small problems/issues were dealt with and resolved quickly which made things more pleasant."

  "Glenrock Game and Trout is a rustic but clean and comfortable venue. We enjoyed the quiet walks and gentle fishing. The best aspect was that there is no cell phone reception and work could not get hold of me allowing a true break and quality time with the company."

  "The grass was so long around the dams it was difficult to fish, the water was low (not their fault) but full of weeds, so not good for fishing.... and that was the reason we went there."

  "Glenrock Game and Trout is absolutely beautiful. We stayed there for 2 nights and we enjoyed our stay to the fullest. It is very quiet and peaceful and a wonderful place to relax and de stress. We enjoyed fishing in the dam, feeding the animals and ducks and our grand daughter enjoyed the pony rides and the horses. We will definitely return with other family members because accommodation is value for money, and the hosts are very accommodating and hospitable."

  "We had a fantastic time at Glenrock.. It was home away from home. The owners Douglas and Sindy were awesome.. I would go there often if I could. We enjoyed every day. It was sad to leave thou as we made to feel so comfortable.. I would recommend Glen rock to my family and friends any time.. We are going back in July with 8 people. I have not confirmed a date as yet."

  "My husband and I spent two nights at Glenrock, to get away from it all. We had an awesome stay and will definitely be back.<div><br /></div><div>There is very little cellphone reception (try the spot near the jungle gym!) but that suited us perfectly as we really needed some peace and quiet and a chance to unwind.</div><div><br /></div><div>There is a variety of farm animals and a choice of lovely walks, so children have plenty to do and don't need to take their devices with them.</div><div><br /></div><div>Take charcoal for the braai.</div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div>"

  "A beautiful, peaceful setting with friendly owners. Unfortunately the unit that was allocated to us was a disapointment. We were not pleased to be woken by bats flying around our heads the whole night. The drainage at the unit was also not up to scratch. We decided to cut our trip short because of these factors and did not stay the second night."

Riaan was an excellent host and never hesitated to assist with anything we needed - even garlic! Fantastic to have ladies come in and clean every morning too - a truly relaxing breakaway!"

  "We had a super awesome relaxing stay, the kids had a blast with all of the farm animals and feeding the tame deer, we rode our bikes around the farm looking at all of the animals and caught 4 beautiful fat rainbow trout, will definitely be back."
