Die Hut
Die Hut is situated on a lovely farm in Morreesburg, a tranquil and friendly little town approximately 85 km from Cape Town. The town is very peaceful and quiet, perfect for a relaxing stay.
The farm offers a guest house with six rooms, a restaurant with a licensed bar, a great wedding venue with chapel facilities, a swimming pool and large lawns for the kids. Not only is Morreesburg the heart of a strong farming community, but it also has one of three wheat museums in the world.
Neulfonteinkop is in fact a hill just outside town upon which sits an old ships cannon, used in days gone by to alert farmers to newly docked ships in Cape Towns harbour. There is a welcome hike on the hill and the Misverstand Dam is very popular for water sports with locals and visitors alike.
There is also a restaurant and function venue on the premises.

We spent one night at the lodge for a wedding and after my boyfriend discovered his shirt needed ironing after our trip to Moorreesburg, she even offered to iron it for him. Everyone was very friendly and trusting! We had a wonderful stay."
