Erlesmere Lodge
Erlesmere Lodge consists of two buildings. The main building is an elegant double-storey Edwardian house offering two self-catering apartments; the Lower Maisonette has two bedrooms and two bathrooms and the Upper Maisonette has three bedrooms with two bathrooms. Both have a lounge, a dining room and a fully equipped kitchen as well as wrap-around verandas.
The second building is also a double-storey but is more modern and offers two rooms on a B & B basis. It has one King or Twin room and one standard double room. Both rooms have en-suite shower, toilet and basin. If booked individually these rooms are not self-catering although there is a shared kitchenette and a lounge downstairs.
We are centrally located in Morningside, just off bustling Florida Road, Durban. Windermere Shopping Centre is within easy walking distance and there are restaurants and take-away establishments even closer. The beach, golf courses and sports stadiums are all within a five-minute drive.

09 April 2012"This place is just off Florida Road, which has the only bars in Durban that are open after 21:30 - great! Our first night's sleep was bad though due to a random skylight in the bedroom, but the manager, Sean, was great and fixed it for us so we could sleep properly the next day. Thanks Sean."
