Madeline Grove bed and breakfast is situated in the leafy suburb of Morningside, a stone's throw from trendy Florida Road, only five minutes' drive from the Durban Central Business District, Durban beaches, International Convention Center, Moses Mahbida Stadiums and uShaka Marine World.

Rooms are air-conditioned with DStv. Heat and eat option in some rooms. Other facilities include a sparkling swimming pool, secure off-street parking and complimentary wireless Internet access.

Breakfast is continental and a English breakfast in the dining room overlooking our sparkling the pool, includes fruit juice, fruit, yoghurt, cereal, freshly baked muffins or croissants, toast with jam, cheese, tea and coffee.

"I loved the way they keep their rooms clean and fresh, and the pool as well. However, I feel that they should offer breakfast for free since they are listed as bed and breakfast. Why list yourself as bed and breakfast, yet clients must still pay for breakfast? I feel like it's misleading."

"I wasn't impressed to stay at Madeline B&B. Firstly the room they gave us wasn't up to date @ all i.e. the window in our room was broken, door locks were loose, TV wasn't playing properly (we didn't even watch it as there was noting to watch).......we reported it on day one and there was no change. We were there for 5-nights but our linen was only changed once. And lastly, there was no breakfast variety, we eaten one thing since on our arrival. I wasn't happy with our stay there but at least they were kind enough to drop the charges since the other couple we were supposed to go with didn't make it."

"We booked a room by the pool, but were put in what appears to have been the last room available on that day, with a mattress so lumpy that our sleep was interrupted. To the credit of the management, they moved us to a decent room on the second night, and didn't charge us for the first night, but I would have preferred the option of paying for a good night's sleep."

"Owner is very accommodating and flexible and truly see to the individual needs of their clients. Staff went the extra mile to make our stay comfortable. My car was washed and my clothes were ironed, even without me requesting this! I will highly recommend Madeline Grove to family and business acquaintances. Inclusive good wifi connectivity and safe, enclosed parking was an added bonus. The location is perfect, central and our stay was absolute value for money!"
