"My experience with Mitchell Park Inn was the worst ever in my history of travel.<div><br /></div><div>Firstly it is extremely difficult to get in touch with Saloshna as my family had tried to contact her for a week before we arrived in Durban to no avail.</div><div><br /></div><div>Check in is at 2pm, and we arrived at 1:45pm, we tried contacting her as well as safarinow for a whole hour and still could not get a hold of her on any of the contact numbers provided, we even left voicemails on her landline machine. eventually at 3pm she arrived so that we could check in.</div><div>She was the very defensive with multiple excuses and she ran a very disorganized establishment.</div><div><br /></div><div>There is no reception area with a receptionist to receive you when you arrive. There are no spare keys for your room if you are more than 1 in a room, there were cochroaches in the bedrooms and few were seen in the kitchen area, There are dead bugs smahed in the walls of the room and live bugs were found in the cupboard. Spiders were found in my Fiances bed. the keys to all the rooms were left openly in the dining hall.</div><div>1 of the rooms toilet did not flush, the towels that were provided were stained, there wer no fans in the rooms and when one was brought down, it did not have a front cover, the wires from the fan were taped up and some were exposed (bearinf in mind that there was a 2 year old in the family)</div><div><br /></div><div>I've stayed in Backpacking lodges and camping sites with much cleaner and decent living facilities.</div><div><br /></div><div>Needed to say we did not even stay at Mitchell Park Inn , not even on that first night.</div><div><br /></div><div>I would not recommend this place to anyone. For your own sake, rather book into a Backpackers as they are much cleaner and friendlier.</div>"

"For the amount that is being paid, you would expect something more formal. A lot of things were broken and some rooms didn't have doors to the bathroom. If you looking for a place that is just a place to sleep then this is ideal but I'd you looking for luxury look for another place."

"The condition of the establishment was so atrocious that we could not stay in it and had to find another accomodation elsewhere. The picture of the house displayed on Safari website is not the same as the actual establishment, misleading prospective guests. The establishment's condition from outside is not pleasing to the eye at all. Inside the room was is below any imaginable standard. The bed and the linen left a lot to be desired. I would not recommend this place to anyone."
