  "Even checking in a day later the place was not in the best of shapes? {Hygienically) I also requested the upstairs unit and was under the impression it was when confirmation was done?Checked out the a day earlier. The bedding was not even fresh?"

  "The unit was very small, with outdated features. Chairs was extremely hard. Still have a stiff neck and back. No fire place, only portable braai stand that was dirty. No place to position the stand and no ability to clean it. Was a nightmare"

  "Quaint and comfortable! The decor took me way back to beautiful memories of my grandparents and parents home as a child. It has all you need for a wonderful, serene time away and is very close to the beach,not even two minutes walk. Really enjoyed my stay here, loved it and will definitely go back again."

  "We had a lovely stay at Astrandt 1. It was just a pity we could not use the fireplace(Jetmaster) as it is rusty and the smoke fills the room. Other than that the place was tidy, and clean.We will definitely go there again.Marinda"

  "This was our second year coming to Astrandt to celebrate our anniversary and yet again we had a lovely stay. Astrandt 1 was spacious and a stone throw from the beach where we enjoyed the sunsets. Value for money indeed."

  "Astrand 3 a very tidy and clean place if a little cluttered with decorations. Vintage bedroom cupboard space useless.First time in Paternoster and had a really good time, restaurants generally pretty good. Great pity about lobster poaching and tourists actually purchasing them! Not a relaxing place as one needs to be constantly aware of possible theft."

  "Nicely furnished and has all that is required for a long weekend stay. However, this unit could do with some fresh paint, especially in the bathroom/shower and a good floor cleaning.<br/>Floor in the unit was very slippery on arrival, I wonder what tile cleaner was used. The kitchen knife stand is dirty (unhygenic)."

  "The braai area should be at the back as rather enclosed being under the steps of no 2. Also having the car of no 2 parked right infront isn't very nice. Bedroom and bathroom lovely."

  "Hi! We had a wonderful four-night stay at Astrand 1! We absolutely enjoyed every minute! Words cannot describe what we felt! This place definitely has soul. I think this was the most "special" holiday home we ever stayed in! We felt blessed from the moment we walked through the front door. Wish we could stay forever. We will definitely come back soon!   "Beautifully furnished, lovely atmosphere, good location. Fireplace adds a special feel. Saloon doors on bathroom a bit daunting! Needs to be well aired due to fireplace smell. Would be nice if it was serviced every day."

  "Baie mooi, modern, heerlike beddegoed en alle DStv kanale! Sal hierdie plek aanbeveel. Ons het baie lekker gebly. Beautiful, modern, lovely bedding and all the DStv channels! Will recommend this. We had an enjoyable stay."
