Whenever we will be in the area again we would love to return. As there are only a few (but very good) restaurants, think about reservations in advance and check their opening hours."

  "We stayed for three days in the lovely village of Paternoster. We were welcomed cordially and Petro went out of her way to get us reservations in restaurants of our choice. This is excellent value for money, rooms are comfortable and clean, Wi-Fi is available and okay, separate entrance for guests. We enjoyed watching the small fishing boats going out and return, the west coast nature reserve. Great place to relax and excellent photo opportunities. Can recommend it."

  "We visited Mosselbank between Christmas and New Years which is an extremely busy time in the town of Paternoster. Koos, the owner, immediately advised us and volunteered to assist with restaurant bookings for the week. The guesthouse is perfectly situated within walking distance from the beaches and restaurant, however just far enough to allow guests to relax and escape the bustle of the town. The team at Mosselbank made our stay unforgettable, with good breakfast and comfortable rooms, we would highly recommend it for any breakaway."

  "Upon arrival we were shown our room by our host and we were pleased with our wonderfully decorated and comfortable room. Crisp, fresh white linen. The bathroom was adequate. The sea view was stunning especially from the veranda. The owners clearly thought about everything to make our stay comfortable. Delicious breakfasts, prepared and served by the friendly owners themselves. Nice atmosphere with classic music playing in the background."

  "The accommodation at Mosselbank provides everything that one needs - tea, coffee, fresh milk in the fridge, a hairdryer with a convenient plus next to a good mirror,comfortable chairs to sit and read in on the balcony and inside, a very comfortable bed with crisp white linen, lots of hot water and clean towels - in fact Petro has thought of everything. The setting was perfect for us as we loved walking along the beach into the village every morning and evening. Highly recommended."

  "Was really chuffed with this spot. Although you can't see the sea, you can hear it and the beach was only 10 steps away. Close to all the nice restaurants as well. Breakfast was wonderful, owners were lovely. We could not find anything bad to say about Mosselbank and will definitely use the B&B for future stays. Only one suggestion for the owners is to maybe put small carpets down in the rooms. Might absorb some of the sound (walking on tiles is sometimes noisy) and will warm the room up somewhat. Other than that the rooms were beautifully decorated and the bed fantastic. Thanks for a lovely weekend away."

The room was a dream and we were able to sit around a blazing fire in our own hearth and enjoy the flames as we went to sleep. Our host served a well cooked breakfast with lovely homemade produce.   "Lieflike plekkie, sal weer in die toekoms kom kuier. Tyd tot my beskikking was te kort, het dit as 'n eennagstop gebruik, maar nog steeds die moeite werd. Baie vriendelike mense met lieflike vol ontbyt vir die langpad. Ek sal dit definitief aanbeveel vir mense. Lovely place, will come visit again. It was a stopover and was way too short. definitely worth it though. Very friendly people and lovely breakfasts. Will definitely recommend."

  "On arrival we were taken to an adjacent building to the main B & B.This room was spacious, tidy with an adequately sized bathroom and shared balcony looking out towards the partially obscured sea; lovely place to watch the sun go down, even on a winter's day as we had. Breakfast was served in the main house and consisted of a fruit salad starter or cereal and then a cooked breakfast of bacon, eggs, sausages and mushrooms. Very well cooked and plenty of it.The business is very much a family concern with everyone concerned doing a bit. They were happy to give information on the area regarding attractions and restaurants, although the latter were a little in short supply in Paternoster in mid-winter.A very good place and to be well recommended if you decide to make a trip up the west coast."
