"Me and my boyfriend really did enjoy our stay at afri-lala,patsy and the ladies where very accomadating. Breakfast was delious and we had a set up outside everyday under the gazebo. our room was clean and the big bed made it difficult to get off as was so comfortable. will def go back. "

"The house is lovely, private, neat, well decorated and clean. The theme is very African, hence the name Afrilala.I think my mistake was enquiring as to whether the rooms were smoking or not as we spent the weekend feeling like naughty children instead of newly weds and instead of a congratulations, a happy birthday or even a happy mothers day, we were threatened with a fine should we be caught smoking. Needless to say we were not fined, though the weekend we should have spent celebrating / relaxing left us feeling rather uncomfortable. There was no special treatment, no complimentary champagne, rose petals, congratulations card, nada. Honeymoon suite was extremely standard and we had to be up before 8.30am if we wanted breakfast. Other than that, it wasn't too bad."

"We arrived in Durban tired and earlier than the check in time, we were given the courtesy to check in at 9 o'clock in the morning. we had so much fun; the service is great, with friendly staff who made the perfect breakfast.
