Conveniently situated in Mount Moreland, just five minutes from New King Shaka International Airport and 6 km inland from Umdloti Beach. Here you will find our farm-style accommodation situated on half an acre of land (1.8 km dirt road leading into Mount Moreland). There are self-catering units with lots of open space for the kids to run around, fruit trees to rest under and a trampoline for visitors.
Our first unit is a private, free-standing, A-frame building. It has a double bed upstairs and two single beds downstairs in the open-plan lounge. It has a fully fitted kitchen and its own braai area. The bathroom offers a bath and shower.
Our second unit is attached to the main house but has its own entrance for privacy. The unit also has a fully fitted kitchen with the bathroom having a shower only. The second unit has a king-size bed that can be split into two singles, which makes it suitable for a couple.
Both units are very safe with ample parking. Only one house away is a lovely park with slides and swings for the kids. Although we are so close to the airport, we are 50m below airport level, which ensures minimal noise. Mount Moreland is a world-famous barn swallow site and has 2 viewing platforms.
We are 15 km from Hazelmere dam great for boating, wind-sailing, and fishing, water sports like Jet Ski, paddling or just fun in the sun. We have lots of space to keep your boat or Jet Ski. We have lots of cycling trails in Mount Moreland. You can cycle down to beach, casino, or cycle to Airport for lunch.
"Price is very reasonable for the North coast. We had to leave early for the airport the next morning and it is a breeze driving to the airport within a couple of minutes. The house was very well equipped."
"My daughters flew in and arrived quite late from Chicago so we needed something very close to King Shaka Airport before driving up to the game reserves the next morning. Everything at Mt. Moreland was great - the hosts, the location, the accommodation, the price, even the friendly dogs who greeted us warmly in the morning (but politely stayed outside). My only suggestion is that it would have been better to arrive before dark, because it's a bit of an adventure getting there, but we are an adventuresome family and the hosts were happy to help with good directions, so there was no problems."
