181 Mast Road is situated in Mtwalume, a small seaside village situated in the Umdoni Coast of KwaZulu-Natal. Mtwalume is mainly a holidaymaker and fishermans village and it also boasts a shopping centre consisting of a butchery, bottle store, post office, supermarkets, cafs, restaurants and a hardware store.

We offer three bedrooms and two bathrooms. There is secure parking in our large grounds and the cottage is only a 500 m walk from the beach with a tidal pool. There is a comfortable lounge area with a flat screen TV with DStv and a fully equipped kitchen for great entertainment. There is an undercover braai facility for guests to enjoy.

The general appearance of the village is that of a rural environment boasting an abundance of indigenous flora and fauna. Mtwalume is a little stretch of subtropical paradise boasting untouched sandy beaches, lush foliage and shimmering waters. The waters are superbly warm and there are numerous lovely tidal pools ideal for safe swimming. The main feature of this village is the Mtwalume River which forms a beautiful lagoon where it enters the sea. This area is ideal for a variety of water sports such as scuba diving, angling, windsurfing and board surfing.
