Apricot Hill is now a private country farmhouse offering self-catering cottages (minimum stay here of two nights on weekends only), self cater Croft Rooms and tranquil Farmhouse rooms. (No minimum stay in these)

Apricot Hill is ideal for ' budget conscious' weekend getaways and for those who need to visit the Rand but don't want to be right in the big city. Also for wedding and conference guests attending one of the myriad of excellent venues close by.

The farm is just 40 minutes from Johannesburg and Pretoria, 15 minutes from Roodepoort and Krugersdorp, and has easy access to the highways, Lanseria airport, Randburg and Sandton. Apricot Hill is ideal for travelling delegates, wedding guests or those with business to do on the Reef.

"Quiet and restful lovely surrounds , close to various attraction in the area. Rooms were neat ,tidy and clean.I would like to have had a flat screen TV and Dstv or Open package available . The bunny ears did not work for me."

"our stay at Aprict hill was veru good. They went out of their way to provide my brother an extra room when we realised the room we where assigned to only had a double bed. It was very nice and peacefull.<br />would definatly return<br />"

"Unfortunately I must say I was very disappointed. We checked in just after 12 and two hours later checked out. What is advertised on the web is not what we got and the place was dirty and needed a lot of maintenance. Our main view was a broken tennis court with washing hanging. I sent my husband to check out. Shame I told him to tell Wendy that family was waiting for us as Wendy was very sweet but when I got home I was very upset as it was my 30th birthday and we lost all that money we paid in and never even relaxed or enjoyed."
