"Lovely spacious home with plenty of rooms where our extended families could spend time together. The courtyard is a super feature. Very close to the beach, 5min walk, and good proximity to many of the best attractions in the vicinity. We definitely hope to visit again and will highly recommend it. One word of warning, bring mozzie spray!"
"A lovely place, nice and close to the beach. The furniture is a little worn out and could possibly do with updating but on the whole a comfortable experience. We even got to enjoy some of the local wildlife when four spotted bush snakes decided to take up residence in the outside shower. After watching the spectacle for a while we got on the phone and the owner was quick to have them removed again."
"Everything was perfect location was awesome was like if we were on a tropical island. House is very comfortable and spacious perfect for family or friends get away I recommend it to anyone who just want to get away and switch off from everything"
"Big, spacious beach house that was perfect for our needs. The double bed in the main bedroom desperately needs a new mattress, but otherwise a very relaxing stay."
"It was beautiful and close to the beach. 2 of beds were not comfortable but the overall stay was amazing."
"Wonderful stay as always. Peace and tranquility. Will be back soon."
"The house was spacious and close to the beach, so it was great that we could walk with our dog. The house is semi-pet friendly as the garden around the house did not have proper fencing so our dog had to be kept indoors and utilize a small courtyard (due to no fencing, security became an issue for us and we were constantly worried about our belongings being in the house). The house itself could use some much needed ceiling fans due to the heat as well as a bit of TLC as it has been neglected. The hot water tap in the bath was tightened to the point whereby it could not be used, so we could only use the 1 shower between all of us which could also use a scrub (black mildew all over the floor and wall). The stove needs attention as it took ages to cook food. Furniture at the house needs to be looked at as well (old and broken). Curtains not even up properly due to broken curtain hooks.Great position but unfortunately the house has not been looked after very well."
"we did not have a good stay. Our cars were broken into the 1st night. The cottage was broken too the 2nd night."
"I wanted to write and tell you what an amazing holiday we had at your cottage. Wonderful, only begins to describe it! The cottage was perfect for our needs. It has a comfortable feeling of home-away-from-home, which was very reassuring. It was a pleasure to run through the house with sandy feet and feel like it was designed for behaviour like that and felt like it was expected and even welcomed! Rejoice was a dream come true - and we paid extra to have her come and tidy up after us every day in the end. My husband particularly loved the invigorating outdoor shower, especially at night as he looked up and watched the stars. We ate most of our meals on the outside table and relished the shelter from the wind and midday sunshine that the quad provided. Great fun was had playing ball games on the lawn. I loved the cottage being slightly set back from the sea so that the noise of high tide didn't keep anyone awake, but it was loud enough to lull us gently to sleep instead. Another highlight was waking up to the birds and dashing two minutes to the beach to see the sun rise on our own private beach - only to be followed in the evening by watching the sun set over the estuary with the birds silhouetted against the sky as they came in to roost. I'm still not sure which was the most breathtaking. There were days that we did not leave the beach or the rock pools. The kids collected shells by the bucket and made beautiful photo frames with them. We sat in the natural tidal pool for hours, with no one else for company but a few dog walkers. Glenmore Beach was great for the 'little-uns' and we made it there on two occasions. Mac Bananas was a hit with all of us for their delicious pancakes and wonderful fruit and veg. We ventured as far as Fish on the Pond for a late lunch which was divine, but otherwise we were at the cottage or on your beach. I know you know all of this, but it was just such a magical, special place and I know your cottage has helped heal my stressed-out body and mend a few holes in my soul."
"The fire place was lovely, we spent almost the whole weekend by it due to bad weather but enjoyed the family time together. Spacious for young children to run and play about. However there was surface dust and I think insect excrement on the head board. Also no blankets were available as needed in these cold temperatures. With no bedding on the bunk beds available and lack of heaters as we had a baby and infants therefore needing the rooms warmer. Overall we had an enjoyable, cozy weekend."
