Accommodation Unwind

Accommodation Unwind offers guests a two-bedroom flat, as well as a separate en-suite bedroom with a private entrance, suited for two guests. We located slightly inland, in the suburb of Myburgh, on the eastern shore of the idyllic Langebaan Lagoon.

Langebaan is a popular holiday resort situated approximately 120 km north of Cape Town, on the South African West Coast. This beautiful West Coast town offers you the tranquillity of untouched nature as the Langebaan Lagoon is part of the West Coast National Park.

The park is world-wide renowned for its birding spots for migratory birds through the year. The Southern Right wales visit the lagoon annually during the winter and early spring season to calve. The lagoon area is a favourite destination that offers nature lovers and adventure seekers alike, beautiful scenery especially the annual wild flower season from late July until early September.

There are nearby located fossil parks, nature and game reserves, birdwatching spots, a variety of water sports, Club Mykonos Casino, and multiple restaurants for the food lovers and even shopping malls.

"My personal details are misleading at times. Our hostess was taken aback by that. We were not offered the use of the jaquizzi and although she said she would switch on dstv, she didnt. I missed the West coast hosiptality which i have become accustomed to . **************************************************** Establishment response: Unfortunately the jacuzzi is part of the 2x bedroom flatlet and you booked the Bachelor Flatlet. The DStv was switched on. If you experienced any technical issues during your stay you should have notified me. We cannot rectify problems that we are not aware off. "Our family had a great weekend at Unwind.House was spotless, tidy and welcoming. Jacuzzi was warm when we arrived (stayed that way all weekend)We were close enough to walk to the beach,down the scenic trail. "We spent the weekend there and we found the place extremely clean and well looked after. Loved the decor. Very organised. We stayed in the 2 bedroom place which is self catering and will certainly go back again. Heidi gave us good service. Also we had the Jacuzzi to ourselves which is part of the package so relaxing which is a definite plus. We certainly recommend!"

"We had no problems. It was perfect for us as the one bed had railings so we could turn it around for our toddler so he didn't fall out of bed. Maybe this can be used in the marketing? We would have preferred that the jacuzzi was more private but it was still very nice. It would have been nice if tea and coffee were provided but otherwise a pleasant stay."

"The accommodation was neat and very comfortable in the bachelors flat. However, the TV was not working and when we reported it, no one was able to assist. As sport lovers, we missed out on the weekend sport entertainment at night. The rules, which are not posted on the website, are extremely strict for a holiday resort and makes one feel very uncomfortable. It is also set out in a very direct and uncourteous manner. It is also much further than 20 minutes away from the beach! Definitely not a child-friendly accommodation! No music and it must be quiet after 22h00."
