Tranquility Lodge in Natures Valley, South Africa is now under new management and has officially been linked with the Face Adrenalin Bungee, as well as upgraded to a new look and feel, for those who enjoy the adventure in life, we have also converted from a Lodge to a B&B and will now be running under the name Tranquility B&B.We have decided to market Tranquillity B&B from a different approach as Natures Valley has so much to offer, of course they have not forgotten about the honeymooners and the romantic getaways, Tranquility will always be ready to accommodate the love birds but will now also be fully equipped to accommodate the active and the adventurous.There is so much to offer in Natures Valley as it is surrounded by many adventurous activities, you may feel as if you need a few days to fit it all in. Tranquility now offers all activities and adventures to be booked with your stay as well as great discounts at the Face Adrenalin Bungee.Luxury B&B accommodation includes seven double en-suite rooms, one of which is our "honeymoon" or "penthouse" suite. We have two Superior Twin/King rooms also located on the upper floor. Our Standard rooms are located downstairs. All our rooms include a delicious breakfast to complete the experience.Tranquility B&B no longer offers dinners, but has a great restaurant/pub next door to us, that is perfect for lunches and dinners.

"The quiet"

It was a nightmare to have a shower or a bath due to the glass on the side you could not get to the plug or feel the water if it was hot or cold as there wa no hot or cold on the tap. This was in the Forest room. I just had to get used to all the noise from other guests walking or moving stuff as there was no sound proofing. Fresh towels daily would have been a nice finish as they were still damp in the evening if you had a shower the morning or night before. Otherwise I enjoyed my stay."

Everything was perfect and the hosts more than accommodating - booked in a few hours early and served breakfast earlier than normal on 2 occasions. Room - honeymoon suite - very comfortable with all available extra / facilities. Can strongly recommend."

28 December 2013"We had a lovely beach stay at Tranquility. Jason and Misty were very obliging hosts. Everything was good and the facilities were nice. Our only complaint (re Shell Room) is that is was very hot, it could do with aircon. It was so close to beach - Jason prepared a lovely picnic dinner for us to enjoy on the beach! Highly recommended for a casual, relaxing stay."

The Staff was exceptionally welcoming and saw to our needs without us even asking them, e.g offering to do the booking for an evening meal at a restaurant at Keurboom, the Treetop Tour, etc. Both breakfast and the evening meals were superb. The breakfast saw us right through the day to dinner! The small things added to our comfort: Good reading lamps next to the bed, homemade biscuits in a container with the coffee / tea, our car being washed daily. We will certainly recommend Tranquility Lodge to our friends and family!"

30 November 2007"The chef at Tranquility Lodge was very good. We stayed for 3 nights. All 3 evening meals were first rate. The breakfasts were the best we have had from any hotel/guest house/game reserve during our 3 week stay in South Africa. The management were very flexible and helpful. The scenery at Natures Valley is splendid. We hope to return to SA in about 2 years time. Tranquility Lodge will definitely be on our visiting list."

19 December 2005"I got married at Nature's Valley this week, and I must say, the lodge was FANTASTIC! The people there were so helpful it actually made me feel bad, but they just helped with a smile. I would recommend this place to anybody that is looking for a relaxing holiday ... trust me, it's awsome. Just don't book the honeymoon suite on the 14th of December from now on ... it's mine! :)"

07 November 2005"Quite and relaxing. Staff helpfull, friendly and charming. Cleaning staff could be a bit quieter, tended to have loud conversations with each other. Excellent food great dining room. Great location with beach across the road and pub next door. Will definitely recommend and return."
