Newlands Guest House is the ideal base for exploring the Cape Peninsula and surrounding area. We are conveniently located close to all major motorways and just 15 minutes from the city and Cape Town International Airport.

We offer six beautiful rooms with en-suite bathrooms. Accommodation ranges from twin beds to rooms with queen-size or king-size beds. All of the rooms have colour TVs, telephones and complimentary tea and coffee.

Enjoy comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation in a tranquil setting. Gleaming wooden floors and antique furniture provide a welcoming ambience. Relax in the garden, laze next to the swimming pool, enjoy our pets and feel at home.

There is a major upmarket shopping centre and many good restaurants nearby. Enjoy mountain walks or the natural splendour of Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens; the vineyards of the Constantia Valley; the craft shops at Montebello; the Josephine Mill; Rhodes Memorial; the Sports Science Institute or Newlands Stadium.

"Sarah is a super host . Helpful and accommodating with regards to Breakfast time , needing an ashtray outside my room.The room was a good size with an entrance on to a garden. A useable table to do work on (laptop) with sufficient tea, coffee etc.I will definitely return .Jules"

"Our stay at the Newlands Guest House was prompted by a need to be in the area for various business meetings. NGH could not have been more conveniently situated, making our weekend hassle free in terms of travel time to and fro. Garth and company are just delightful, the house is beautiful and comfortable, and the breakfast more than ample. No complaints, we look forward to returning in the future."

Tea,coffee or drinks were available if required.A substantial breakfast was enjoyed,l ocal and tourist information were readily available. Garth arranged a hire car and drove us, without charge, to the Avis depot. Thanks to his good will, our holiday started very smoothly.We are happy to recommend this guest house."
