And The Cow Jumped Over The Moon is a purpose-built establishment offering two Self-catering Cottages and one Double Room.

The cottages each comprise a lounge with an open-plan kitchen and a bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. Each cottage also has a queen-size bed in the bedroom and a double sleeper couch in the lounge which provides comfortable accommodation for up to four people.

The cottages are fully equipped with fans, heaters, electric blankets, stoves, fridges, microwaves, tea and coffee facilities, linen and towels.

The Double Room has a double bed and an en-suite shower, coffee-making facilities and a bar fridge.

We are located just 2 km from the centre of the village with its art galleries, coffee and crafts shops, restaurants, fossil museum, bushman paintings and the famous Owl House.

"The rooms and entire facility is spotlessly clean. Annette and Oscar made sure that we were comfortable, and also contributed free firewood and condiments for our braai on the Saturday night. Bedding and furniture is comfortable. Parking for our motorcycles was safe and close to our rooms. Will definitely stay there again, and can suggest this venue to friends."

"Our room was charmingly furnished without being too "cutesy" . It had everything we needed. Particularly great was being able to walk the couple of blocks to find dinner!Only sound we heard at night were a donkey, a Nightjar and a few doves! Love Nieu-Bethesda."

The Cow is situated at the edge of town, but is within walking distance of several amazing eateries, such as Divine Delights and Alfresco Gourmet Pizza. <br/>To add to it, The Cow is pet friendly which is a rarity lately."

"I was really looking forward to visiting this part of the world, and we were warmly welcomed at "The Cow". I expected our accommodation to be self catering, but the only method of cooking was a Weber Braai outside and a kettle. Some crockery and cutlery was provided. The space was also very small, and I felt awkward having my toiletries and food stuffs all in the same area. We didn't like the bathroom with a proper old "pull the chain" toilet which was very noisy. However, our bed was very comfortable, and it was lovely to be in the village, where we could walk to everything in the centre of the town."
