Nagenoeg

For those whore looking to spend a night or two in the warm heart of Nieu-Bethesda, Nagenoeg - meaning near enough in Afrikaans - is the most centrally situated guest house in the village. Even better, for those whore getting married, its only three meters from Die Waenhuis wedding venue.

A charming, self-catering golden oldie, Nagenoeg is situated on the corner of Martin and Hudson streets, and has three bedrooms; two have double beds and one has two single beds, which makes it perfect for a family stay. Features include one shared bathroom with a bath but no shower, a large dining room, and a sun-drenched kitchen. During winter, you can cosy up to the fireplace in the lounge or entertain the family in the games room.

Whip up a meal in the kitchen. Nagenoeg has a fridge, two-plate stove, microwave and more, or have a braai outside while your kids run around in the large garden. Do note, however, that the property is not fenced in for pets.

"Tranquil beautiful town. Nagenoeg is very appropriate for the town and makes you travel back in time. Nothing fancy, but anything more would have spoilt the ambiance."
