  "After a dodgey start.We did,nt get an e-mail advising us which to use the tarred road to Nieu Bethesda and where to get the cottage keys.We phoned the Cell No on the fence and it was on voice mail then when we tried later the owner said she was on a farm and could,nt hear us. Luckily Lucie and Paul at the Ibis Lounge told us to fetch the from the Karoo lamb.Once we had bought food and made a fire we loved our stay. Just needs some cosier lighting in the lounge."

  "Well-equipped, quirky, centrally located home in the most beautiful town in South Africa. The "sleeps up to 8" is a bit misleading as the only bedroom features a double bed plus bunkbeds for 4 (another two beds/couches in the lounge). This is perfect for two people or a large family but 6 adults will obviously have to be very comfortable sharing a bedroom. That said, we (two adults) really enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and comfortable and a small water leak was sorted out within an hour."

  "Nieu Zebra self catering was perfect during our stay in Nieu Bethesda. It has a sweet quirky charm and is perfectly located. A few minutes walk to the owl house, and the village amenities. Very clean and tidy."

  "A great little place in the heart of Nieu-Bethesda. A bit of a wonky ol' bed, but everything else was superb. Loved all the quirkiness, the garden and would stay there again."

  "I liked our stay a lot, it is just around the corner from the Owl House. The decor is creative with a mix of old things and colours. No big luxury but clean and all you need. Two beds in the lounge area, one big bed plus two bunk beds in the bedroom, ie. you could sleep with eight people (but just one bathroom)."
