Brandkop Guest Farm

Brandkop Guest Farm is perfectly placed on the circle route via the waterfall, quiver tree forest and the wild flower reserve, back to Nieuwoudtville. This modest sanctuary promises a truly relaxing experience in an unhurried environment, and is the perfect stopover between Cape Town and the Kalahari.

We offer a private cottage situated in the veld, featuring two double en-suite rooms and a large living area with a built-in fireplace for cosy winter nights. Brandkop Cottage offers the only accommodation in the area with views of the famous quiver tree forest, only 1.5 km from the cottage itself.

Providing welcoming hospitality to children of all ages, this is also an ideal family destination. Here you have ample space, with farm animals to meet and places to run free. There is so much to do, including mountain biking, bird watching, and hiking to the quiver tree forest. We also offer delicious pre-packed braai packs with lamb and boerewors from the farm that can be ordered in advance. At Brandkop Cottage, we dont decorate your plate, we fill it.

  • "PEACEFUL stay on the farm."

    27 August 2019

"The host and hostess were very friendly. Our accommodation was fine but - the problem was there were no benches to put the suitcases on in the rooms we also had no shelves or a place to put our soap and shampoo in the shower. There should be a fly swotter in the kitchen."

  • "Comfortable beds! Beautiful simultaneous sunset/moonrise at opposite ends of the sky."
