The Noordhoek Sunshine Lodge derives its name from the positive feelings experienced by German owners Harald and Elke on their first visit in 2010. They fell in love with the memorizing sounds of the peacocks, guinea fowls, Egyptian geese, meerkats, the hooting owls that appear at night, the iconic fish eagle that soared above and the fresh air that filled the wide-open spaces.

As a result they created the Noordhoek Sunshine Lodge, giving birth to a haven of good vibrations, mimicking the warmth, energy and beauty they experienced and wanted to share with guests; sharing the majestic beauty they found in the north corner of Cape Towns rural treasure.
