Montage Guesthouse & Cafe

Situated in Port Edward on the lower South Coast of KwaZulu-Natal, Montage Guesthouse & Cafe offers comfortable accommodation plus a fully licensed bar and caf.

There are four well-appointed double bedroom units, two of which are fitted with single beds. Two of the rooms have en-suite bathrooms and the other two bedrooms share a bathroom. All units are equipped with televisions as well as coffee and tea-making facilities.

The upmarket Deja Vu Bar attracts our resident guests and locals alike. A lounge area is provided for your relaxation and guests can wind down after a hard days work, meet friends or associates for a bar lunch, or just come and chat to your hosts, Gustav and Elize. Meals can be served out on the deck overlooking the swimming pool.

"We didn't enjoy our stay at all. We booked for 2 nights but we only spent one night because we couldn't stay in that place any longer. Condition of the guest house is not good at all. Water temperature in the shower kept changing while were showering without us controlling it. In my friends room there were giant ants. For R5400 you expect good service and better accommodation. The lights were not working. When we arrived we were in shock of the condition of the place we were just laughing because we couldn't believe were were charged so much for that place, our laughter was interpreted as happiness. I honestly believe Montage Guesthouse need to review their prices and lower them, as in seriously lower them. The view to the garden is not pleasant at all. There is no proper parking and the house is not fenced."
