Lushof Gasteplaas

Lushof Gasteplaas is situated within 5km from the town of Northam and offers comfortable accommodation in 32 units, which consist of two-sleepers .

All units are furnished with comfortable single beds and they have bathrooms which are r en-suite. Each unit has a kitchenette that is equipped with a bar fridge, micro oven, kettle and cutlery and tea and coffee facilities. Guests can relax in their private rooms which are equipped with TVs offering open view channels. Braai facilities are available and a laundry service is available on request. Cleaning the rooms every day

Guests visiting Northam can visit the Marakele National Park, Waterberg.

"It's a beautiful cared-for establishment and staff very friendly. You can see that it is a hands-on establishment. Peaceful and quiet. Unfortunately the showerhead on shower doesn't ensure that the water spray is efficient. I will definitely recommend your place. Thank you."

"Lushof is a very, very neat guest farm. We only used it for a sleep-over and did not make of the facilities like the bar/food, swimming pool or braai areas but everything looked extremely neat and well kept. A couple of wine and beer glasses with bigger cold drink glasses can be added to the crockery as not everybody (like me) likes to drink wine out of a normal glass. The only other negative is the gravel road taking you to Lushof - it definitely needs urgent attention. However we will definitely stay there again when going to the Pilansberg as a day visitor.It is only a 15minute drive to the gate and do have everything required for a good nights rest and more."

"Stayed here again for our annual Oppikoppi festival and it seems that new management took over. The rooms are well kept and has everything one needs for Self catering purposes. AC has also been installed in the rooms which is a nice addition. The fact that the rooms were serviced everyday is a bonus as well, as it was very well kept. Will stay here again next year!"

"The reception was friendly and helpful. One room had air-condition, while the other one only had a fan.In nr 10 there were spider webs in the corner above the bed next to the window and we only had one coffee cup.In nr 13 was old food in the fridge as well as old bread in the cupboard.Overall Isuppose it is not a bad place to stay but definitely not worth paying R550 per night for 2 people. "

"On arrival we had to wait at the gate until the owner came to open , she made us wait for 30 minutes outside while she tried to confirm payment from safarinow. A white couple came along and had the same trouble, no payment confirmation was received from safarinow,but she let them in first. Which made us feel quite inferior at the time. Nonetheless we were allowed in eventually, the guesthouse is clean ,besides the dogs that aren't on a leash ...nothing else bothered me. Its spacious and neat"

"We enjoyed our visit at Lushof Gasteplaas. They have everything you need - friendly hosts, a nice area for swimming in the pool or having a braai, well equipped kitchen and lots of animals which you enjoy watching. Also near to Pilanesberg, good place to stay!"

"Overall the facility was very good value for money and Jayde was very helpful and efficient - would definitely consider going back. Just three suggestions (not criticisms); - Might want to consider better braai facilities. There is an area but to us needed an upgrade or maybe move a little closer to the units. Not on the grass in front I understand Jayde's concern about smoke getting into the units and she is right but maybe 3 or 4 facilities on the side where Unit 1 is - The cutlery and dishes in the unit were a little skimp - maybe some soap and shampoo in bathroom (i know this can be expensive but does make a difference in the image of a place."
