Thulani Game Lodge on the border of Limpopo Province in the Thabazimbi/Koedoeskop/Northam district, is perched on a hill with breathtakingly panoramic views of the surrounding bushveld. A 90 minutes drive makes it difficult to believe this secret 1,300 hectare paradise is only 150 kilometres from Pretoria.

The lodge sleeps 18 people and each luxurious room has its own en-suite bathroom. Some have bush style en-suite bathrooms where one can experience the bushveld in a unique way. Thulanis beautifully appointed canvas tents on stilted wooden platforms are discreetly placed to ensure absolute comfort and complete privacy. Each tent comprises an en-suite bathroom, comfortable beds and has its own wooden deck, enabling guests to luxuriate in the breathtaking scenery.

The natural tranquility of Thulani makes for an unforgettable break-away venue. Thulani offers excellent birding and game viewing opportunities. Over 130 bird species join Impala, Kudu, Blue Wildebeest, Eland, Red Hartebeest, Waterbuck, Blesbuck, Zebra, Nyala and Giraffe as residents of Thulani. DStv in Caf Sabuthi, covers the all important venues. A swimming splash pool in a natural surround allows guests to cool off.

"Not totally private and not a luxury chalet just basic and average. Not suitable for 2x couples at the same time. Walls between bedrooms and bathrooms not high (no ceiling). Host constant on his motorbike between chalets disturb the silence of the bushveld. Definitely way way over prized. Enjoyed the wildlife on the farm and Njalas grazing between the chalets though."

"Me and my husband had our 28th wedding anniversary and decided to celebrate it at Thulani Game Lodge & Eco Estate. Upon arrival the personnel were waiting us in, showed us to our chalet where a bottle of JC Le Roux on ice were ready for us. The hospitality was something you won't find any place else. The chalet was very private and as need as a pin. The bush veld Jacuzzi was very clear and clean. The best romantic getaway place ever, quiet, neat, private and friendly."
