"Decided not to stay over after booking in. Staff were very friendly but room was really not inviting and all guests make use of a communal bathroom, one for males and one for females. Smoking by some of staff in the bar, which is kind of the only place to sit and have something you drink was really bothering us. The bar could really benefit from a good dusting of all the interesting memorabilia."

We arrived having had an accident with the car, Rod helped us put the incident behind us and was a tremendous help the next morning in getting the car roadworthy for our onward journey. "
