Geluksdam Guest House

Geluksdam Guest House is situated on the N14 in the quiet little town of Olifantshoek, in the Northern Cape. This is an ideal stopover on the main route between Gauteng, Namaqualand, the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park and Namibia.

We offer 14 rooms and units in total that include two self-catering two-bedroom flats, each with its own braai facility, four fully equipped bachelor flats, as well as eight unique family rooms which is let on a bed and breakfast basis. There is safe parking available at your front door.

The Kalahari is known for its hospitality, and we invite you to enjoy our facilities and some delicious meals on offer. You can socialise in any of the entertainment areas, of which include a lounge, a dining room and a bar.

"We stayed over here on a trip between Gauteng and Springbok. We were received very friendly, and accommodated without problem, even though SafariNow did not process our payment in time, and Geluksdam did not receive any notice of our booking or payment. The accommodation is very clean, neat and secure. The air-con was very welcome! I will definitely stay here again, but will book directly with the establishment next time."

"unfortunately we couldn't arrive on our reserved night ( two of us missed the flight from Germany).<div>At once I contacted the geluksdam Guest house to inform them that we can't come and would like to change the booking for one day later. That was not possible. As soon as we arrived in South Africa we Travelled to this guesthouse to talk to them. We had to ring the bell several times until the manager came to the gate which he didnt open. He talked to us and told us that our arrangement couldn't be changed And that we couldn't get our Money back. We travelled 3 weeks through namibia and South africa and never we met such unfriendly behavior.</div>"

"Unit was not ready for guests. Woodwork on the stairs - nails sticking out and not painted. Flat screen TV on the fridge in the kitchen, but not even connected. Self catering unit, but no utensils to use with the pots and pan. Downstairs shower head missing."
