Cul de Sac Guest House

Cul de Sac Guest House is situated in Oudtshoorn, in the heart of the Klein Karoo, and offers guests an unforgettable stay. The guest house ensures relaxation in a peaceful environment and is situated within walking distance from town; ideal for people exploring the Klein Karoo.

Guests have a choice of three En-suite Double Rooms and two fully equipped Self-catering Units. All four units are air-conditioned, have a private entrance and are equipped with TVs with DStv, as well as tea and coffee facilities. The En-suite Double Rooms are furnished with double beds and bar fridges. The Self-catering Units are furnished with double beds and have kitchenettes equipped with fridges and microwaves. Breakfast is available on request.

Guests can relax in the lovely garden or cool off in the swimming pool while making use of the braai facilities, and children will enjoy playing on the jungle gym and trampoline. Secure parking is available and as an added treat, guests can view the ostriches that made Oudtshoorn famous.

"Adequate accommodation in quiet rural area. No privacy on the verandah. Lone frustrated ostrich kept in a pen metres from our front doors amounts to cruelty to the animal."

"Arrived travel weary from Jo'burg. Greeted warmly and presented with a beautiful unit. The kids loved the jungle gym and we all want to head back as soon as possible. The unit is large, tidy and well equipped. Nothing to fault here!We will certainly return to Oudtshoorn and make Cul de Sac our base for exploration - it's a gem."

"Our family of four stayed in one of the self-catering units for 2 nights. The unit was very nice: clean and well equipped, with nice bathroom. The kids enjoyed the jungle gym and trampoline. If you don't mind everyone sleeping in one room, this is definitely value for money."

"Clean and beautifully furnished with lots of attention to detail. Complimentary tea and coffee and even cold water ready in the fridge. Everything in good working order. Kids enjoyed the jungle gym, trampoline and watching the ostriches. Only downside is the lack of privacy when relaxing outside (units are close together in the owner's garden). Overall I would recommend this place."

"The place was very neat and has a nice layout. With all the playing facilities in the yard, we were able to unpack and settle down in peace as my daughter was fully occupied with the jungle gym and the trampoline. The presence of the ostriches in the yard was yet another bonus. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for accommodation in the area."

"Cul de Sac in conveniently located in the heart of Oudtshoorn. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. There are lots of little touches in the room to make guests feel extra special. We also enjoyed spending time around the ostriches. The only disadvantage is the heavy smell of smoke in the area used for breakfasts. For those who are preparing their own food, it would not be a concern."
