Lorstan Castle

Lorstan Castle is located in Paradise Beach, in Jeffreys Bay and is ideal for a group, family or reunion.

The house has five bedrooms with comfortable double and single beds and the rooms share the use of two bathrooms. We provide linen and towels, but guests need to bring their own beach towels. The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, an oven, a microwave, a fridge-freezer and utensils. The lounge has a cosy fireplace and a TV; DStv facilities are available, but guests need to bring their own decoder and smart card. Guests can relax on one of the two balconies, one of which has a built-in braai. There are lovely views of the Baviaanskloof Mountains and the ocean.

The beaches in and around Jeffreys Bay and Aston Bay are safe and the water is warm, so swimming and water sports such as surfing are the main pastime. Guests can enjoy scuba diving, snorkelling, boat trips, fishing, sailing, canoeing and body surfing. Other sports include mountain biking, beach horse rides and a 9-hole golf course. Guests can visit the Shell Museum which displays shells from other countries and birders should visit the Kabeljous Estuary and Nature Reserve, Noorsekloof Nature Reserve and Seekoei River Estuary.
