"We enjoyed our stay. Unit was clean. Specifically the bedding, crisp white sheets and duvet cover. Accommodation was basic and ideal for folk who are out and about and come home to sleep. I would love a mattress upgrade and it is important that guests know that there is a 2 plate portable stove and not a fitted unit. We will be back. Thank you for a great stay.xxx"
"The view was excellent."
"I consider Paradise Heads high on value, especially considering the area, with great views. Its also a great option for participants of the Karoo2Coast mountain bike event, since it's situated very close to the finish of this event."
"We had a very pleasant stay."
"Difficult to find, a simple place with no frills. I wouldnt return ."
"Room was perfect for a one night stop. Close to shops, safe and quiet neighborhood. Owner is extremely welcoming and friendly."
"The accommodation was just what we were looking for, it was central to the area's that we wished to explore."
"Well im not sure if I want to review it or not I have not stayed at a place like this ever before and I travel alot for buisness and to take me and hubby away for a night to a place that charges the amount they charge it is quite shocking sorry. Did not tell us about braai facilietie why should we have asked as they are the hosts and we pay them for accomodation so we went out a bought a protable braai. Please warn ppl on the sight to take R40 for dep for towels for the warm pool and R10 per towel extra per person and they will only find out when they check into the room and read for themselfs. Then you get told on a letter to keep the tv soft as there are no sound proffing between rooms so you hear every thing. In the kitchen you will be welcomed with a note on the wall to pay R20 for dishes so also advise guests that book to take R20. Next up we go to the bathroom where you normaly get a small soap and shampoo here you not get anything so please be warned but you can atleast clean the toilet and shower after you used it as that is all you get to clean not your self but the place maybe next time leave the guest a cloth to clean the bathroom blind to and a broom and mop to clean the floors as there is no mop or broom or extra cloth and i realy can go on with my review but hope you can understand not happy guest at all so ps short summary to take with 1. R20 for dishes R50 per person to use the warm pool and if you want to use it with X amount of ppl great. R20 for dishes 3. extra cloth to clean 4. Ask for a braai if you want to braai. 5. go buy a mop and broom to help clean and still pay. So here is my review use dont use it."
"Beautiful view, comfortable beds. But I do think that the room needs heavier curtains to stop the headlights of cars from the street below"
"We asked for early booking as the ad claims from 13h00...but we were told only 14h00. we will be allowed access.1. On arrival with a toilet roll in her hand was greeted by a very nervous staff member , which she took us to our unit.2. We asked her for the WiFi access code but she did not know what we were talking about.3. We entered the unit with our toilet roll, the unit is clean, the flat screen TV. is actually the size of a computer monitor but the impression they have given on the ad is misleading. ?4. I tried to put a few clothing items into the loose old standing wardrode which almost fell on me.5. Owner came knocking to see if everything is OK around 5pm, we asked her for the DSTV remote and was told you have to watch the one and only channel that they watch from the main house, which is only 1 channel, which is on top of the kitchen cabinet which you battle to see.6. We immediately told her we are not spending another night here, as it is been falsely advertised we were immediately met with animosity by the owner and demanded we must still pay the 2nd night, after my husband said this is false advertising, she then said "OK be out by 10am tomorrow" and walked away.7. We were awake most of the night by the tenants next door romping around on the wooden floor with paper thin walls, we could not understand the language as it was foreign, they left before us the next morning seemed very unhappy.8. Upon leaving I went to the owner who was cleaning the next door unit to ask her where can we hand in our keys she ignored us and I felt like a thief, she sent one of her staff members to help us. As we left she ran into our unit so fast to probably check if we has stolen anything. We have have 2 upmarket unit ourselves which we rent out in cape town and the strand through booking .com, we cannot compare. We found accommodation for the next night which 5 star treatment through booking.com ...47 on Howard in Kynsna which was 5 star treatment for R750.00 per night which included breakfast ( please look on booking.com at this premises)."
"Absolutely outstanding view. Very pleasant reception. Basic supplies were very disappointing"
"Conveniently located units with an amazing view. Hosts are very helpful and friendly. Excellent value for money."
"We stayed for 3 Nights at Paradise Heads. It is nicely located with basic facilities are very nearby. The establishment also overlooks the lagoon and we enjoyed its view nicely. Beds and liens were clean and comfortable. The issue with Paradise Head is lack of space. We felt crampy. Also being self catering, the units are not serviced. Not even toiletries supplied. But paid considerably high price of 1050 per night. I personally felt it's very high price for zero services and such small little shelter. In Mossel Bay and East London I paid half the price yet enjoyed more space and services."
"Room was neat and clean but looks outdated

Found hair on the towels and I wasn't happy with the condition of the blanket that they keep in the cupboard

No proper measures against minimising noise amongst neighbours. We couldn't sleep until they also slept, all their laughs and movements were echoed to our room"
"The place is wonderful with very humble owners... I was so impressed by how clean the units are and everything is there all u need to do is bring yourself.
The units are spacious the WiFi is very strong and the view is beautiful. I had an amazing experience"
"We had an awesome stay, Barbara and Eddie are the best hosts ever...we could have stayed there forever. The place is clean and we had everything we needed. We now have a home in Knysna, we'll visit again."
"Paradise Heads is situated in a perfect spot with beautiful views of the Heads and over the lake. The owners are lovely people who were incredibly helpful and kind. The accommodation was great and stocked with everything for our comfort. All in all, a wonderful stay. Will definitely head right back there next time! Thank you!"
"Stunning room, view, absolute class and definitely great value for money. Will recommend to anyone anytime. I can't wait to go back and stay for longer."
