  "Was on business trip checked in around 19:00 and just looking for a place to stay for the night. The breakfast was severed at the night before the morning with slice of bread and jam. Was told That can warm up in the microwave! How Crazy! Not recommended for anyone to stay here!"

  "Definitely a place to revisit. Adri was a very gracious & welcoming hostess. Well stocked self catering cottage, with breathtaking view from the deck. A home away from home. Pristine and beautifully maintained. Had the best nights sleep in a long time. Lovely decor, wonderful views from all windows. Loved it, planning another visit soon with a bunch of the ladies. Woo Hoo! We also requested breakfast as we had an early start, this was hot and delicious and generous!!"

  "There were a few minor niggles, but the view straight over the Heads was spectacular. The place is clean and comfortable, and tho we only stayed one night, the kitchen is as good as one usually gets at self catering places, with most, but not all of what would have at home. Our cottage had two bathrooms but they were both rather tiny, with only showers and no bath.... So if you're a bath junky like me, you might not like it for long term stay."

  "The two bedroom cottage exceeded our expectations. The cottage was cosy any quaint.It has a lovely view from the deck and I felt rejuvenated just being there. It was a perfect end to our holiday. Would recommend it to friends and family and make a return visit."

  "Me and my girlfriend went up for the weekend for the oyster festival. Mainly for the mountain biking event I took part in. The Suikerbekkie cottage is awesome for two people not looking for too much and just a relaxing stay. You have a beautiful view of the Knysna lagoon and it is only about 1.2kms from all the festival activities so you can actually walk there. You also get a very nice breakfast and the electric blanket was much appreciated, because make no mistake.. it gets DAMN cold there. Make sure to take enough warm clothes. I would definitely go again. I would just like to be able to take my DSTV decoder with as there is only a antenna and not a satellite dish. This being the only reason I did not score it a 5. Otherwise, awesome weekend and stay."

  "We spent two lazy days in Protea Guest House and our cottage exceeded our expectations. There is no aircon and no wifi at cottages, but you can connect at the owners house. Breakfast was pretty nice, and all of the experience was first class"
