We welcomed the full DSTV as well as the aircon in the lounge. another nice touch is the vast array of reading material on the bookshelves.<br/><br/>On the minus side, be aware that the house number is obscured by tree foliage and the house is on the LEFT when coming from Jhb - not right, as stated in the directions."

  "Ons wil graag vir Alet, Ilze en haar Ma, baie dankie se vir julle vriendelikheid en vlink diens met die water lek. Ons het dit baie geniet om daar te bly, die huis is vreeslik netjies, skoon en daar is alles wat ons nodig gehad het. Ons sal julle plekkie defnitief aanbeveel vir almal wat ons ken en weer kom kuier. Die kleintjies het die lekker grasperke baie geniet."

  "We enjoyed our stay in the Aloe Cottage. The Cottage is clean and beautiful and the owners are very friendly, however, the kitchen is not fully equipped. There is only one frying pan and no pots, serving dishes, bread boards etc. Privacy and parking can also be an issue with other guests staying in the Aloe Manor."

  "The manager Don Peterson was really helpful. There was a leak in the bathroom as we arrived, but Don responded quickly and a plumber was called out straight away. The house was clean and had everything we needed. PS: Get someone to replace the missing wheel on the Weber."

  "It would be helpful if there was some info in the house to guide visitors around the engaging Parys, such as places to eat, grab a coffee, view art and antiques. Golf and river activities (canoeing, fishing, walks)...nothing better than local knowledge. We enjoyed our stay and Alet was most helpful. Shared parking with the cottage was not ideal, but not a showstopper."
