  "When arriving,the first words Ronel spoke was : Jy skuld my nog geld!. Nie hallo en welkom by ons nie.We always settle the outstanding amount on arrival.I also mailed her to inform her this.We had no hot water on Friday.Only Saturday afternoon there was some and sunday only lukewarm.The Chalet is self catering,but there were no toaster or cutting board.the tv remote was missing.the shower was so dirty and the drain hole clogged from hair and other nasty stuff.only a fan in one room downstairs.The Friday night we could not sleep at all as the other chalets was filled with a group of friend with 5 boys.they started the Friday night playing toktokkie and later slammed their fists into the doors and windows the whole night long.The also constantly occupied the pool,which not heated like stated.the water was ice cold.the splashed out all of the water that the level was under the level the afternoon.nobody came to fill it and because the pump was on for 24/7 we had no piece as the pump made that terrible suffocating noise because it caught air every 5 min.we also saw no animals as the people in the boma pulled their car up the Friday and Saturday and played loud music!! what a terrible valentines weekend getaway.No Piece and quiet!! No Hot water!! This was not a once off,I took a photo that a previous guest also complained about it.Ronel can try and correct this mistake by inviting us to the Soetdoring chalet for a free weekend when it suits us.I will give her a new review then."

  "Units were modern and comfortable. Very peaceful and close to all activities in Parys. Only suggestion would be servicing the rooms - making of beds, washing dishes, changing towels etc. Otherwise a wonderful lodge."

  "This chalet sleeping two and with no other chalets nearby was very neat, clean and private. The upper deck has a lovely view over the farm and game.<br />With our visit during May the ground floor was to cold to enjoy, but the gas heater in the bedroom upstairs worked very well. The small fridge was a problem but it did work well.<br />Contrary to the advertisement this chalet did not have a TV or microwave oven. And the safe I did not notice either.<br />The heated swimming pool I suspect is with the other chalets.<br />Remember matches to light the gas stove and a cell phone to contact them on arrival from the gate or you will not be able to get in.<br />"

  "Wow. Lovely place to stay out of town! Clean, beautifully decorated chalets. Nice atmosphere, safe andsecure. Just 13 min drive out of town. We will definitely be back for a weekend break. Great for mountain bikers also."
