Find your lost rooms and explore a world of vast open spaces and horizons while Mother Nature inspires your senses with her sights and sounds.
Here you will find indigenous wilderness, touched only by abundant game species and birds roaming in the silence of the mountain tops and valleys deep. In this diverse ecosystem you will also find well-preserved Bushman paintings with its historical intricacies of our Earth's past.
Mount Ingwe Lodge is located 120 km from Port Elizabeth and 35 km from Patensie, a small country town in the Eastern Cape. Mount Ingwe Lodge offers two types of self-catering accommodation, namely the Country House and the Ingwe Chalet. The Country House features four cosy bedrooms, while the Ingwe Chalet is an intimate and relaxing retreat for a couple. The more adventurous couple can go for a quad drive through the farm and neighbouring farms. Choose a lovely picnic basket to enjoy or a braai can also be arranged. Enjoy a glass of wine on the stoep and view the spectacular sights of ribokke, kudu, bosbokke and Fish eagles at your doorstep.

"We had an amazing time, the farm house was very well equiped and Daleen even had home made rusks for us. A definite highlight was visiting the Boer War Musuem and seeing Lukas' awesome collection. He went out of his way to explain everything, even giving us a free book. Definitely worth it!"
"I surprised my husband to a night away in the chalet and it had everything we needed. If you want a place where the only noise is the wind rushing through the trees and many birdcalls, then this is the place for you. If you want a view of only trees and rolling hills dotted with cows, then this is also the place for you. I walked uphill to the dam and was treated to the beautiful sight of a Blue Crane and a Duiker cooling down. For war enthusiasts there is a fascinating museum on-site. Dalene was eager to please, but never in an intrusive way. There is a long way to the farm on a gravel road - somewhat rough at times - but my little 1300 Tazz coped without a problem."
"Beautiful surroundings and very homely farmstay. I would recommend this place if you need to get away from it all. There is however a long drive on a dirt road to get there but it was worth the effort. Here you can hear your own thoughts and if you need rest this is the place to come. You can just relax or take a hike on the farm. Very safe area and there are 2 perfect hosts who will go the extra mile for guests. Homely atmosphere with attention to detail and lots of little surprises to make guests feel at home."
"We unfortunately were not allowed to change our reservation, even although it was 13 and not 14 days before the long weekend booked. I find it very difficult to believe that they had no one else interested to stay in the chalet, especially as it was a long weekend! They decided they would keep the R500 we had deposited to you ( Safarinow ).It was disappointing as they weren't prepared to accept any postponement till a later date."
"Mount Ingwe has wonderful hosts who offer a warm welcome. The accommodation is stunning, luxurious and with all the detailsbeautifully provided. The museum on the farm is most interesting."
"We had the entire Lodge to our self's. My only regret is that we were unable to stay longer and explore."
