Glipsie by die See (LOAD SHEDDING FREE**)

Glipsie by die see is now equipped with free unlimited Wi-Fi services for guests' convenience.

Glipsie by die see is a cosy house situated near the beach in Pearly Beach. The comfortable house offers accommodation for up to four people and is only 200 meters from the beach. The house is well equipped and fully furnished and comprises two bedrooms, one bathroom with a shower, an open plan living area with a spacious back garden and braai area.

We have a strict NO GUEST CHANGES Policy for Sundays & last day of long weekends. This allows guests booking for a normal or long weekend only to depart by 17h00 - allowing them to sleep in and still enjoy their last day before departure. With Murphy's law your last day will always be the best weather day. This is only applicable to Sundays and last day of long weekend departures.

The living room has a fully-equipped kitchen featuring an automatic washing machine, a dryer and dishwasher. The lounge has a TV with full DStv. Should you prefer to relax in the garden, this area has glass sliding doors which leads you out onto a covered patio area with outdoor furniture.

Smoking is not allowed inside the unit but guests are most welcome to smoke outside.

** Load Shedding Free**
Glipsie by die See is now partially load shedding free. It offers guests the following:
1. 4-Plate gas hob with kettle for uninterrupted cooking.
2. An inverter system that keeps the TV, DSTV, DVD, WiFi and TV Light running for uninterrupted viewing pleasure during load shedding.
3. Auto rechargeable main lights in each room that supply normal light during load shedding.

Now guests can plan their break away without having to worry about the load shedding schedule. You can visit Glipsie and still watch your favourite soapie or sports event, still use & visit your media platforms (without using your own data), not have to slump around in the dark and be able to continue making food and coffee without having to wait for Eskom.

Naturally certain high demand electricity items like the oven, geyser, dishwasher and microwave still does not work during load shedding.

"Glipsie by die See was everything we expected. Neat and very comfortable. The house have all the necessary that one will need when you go on a vacation. What we as parents mostly appreciated was the quietness of the area. To wake up and hear only the sea winds and waves , was so refreshing. To be away from the rush life of the city , was such relief. Glipsie by die See gave us time as a family to bond and spend time as a family. Tina , the care taker was very friendly and helpful. Pieter and Miens , you don't have only a investment , but you have a home which other people can only call ' our home' Thank you from the depths of our heart for sharing this amazing home with us. "Glipsie is one of many small houses situated in the Pearly Beach resort and is a little further from the beach than we would have preferred but, in its favour, it is priced well, is clean, very well appointed and within a short walk of the Pearly Beach shop that stocks an amazing array of things! The kitchen in particular is nicely finished and leads on to a brick braai area in a very small but also very private back garden. We enjoyed a very relaxed and comfortable visit there."

"Ek is so jammer dat ek 'n troue aangehad het die naweek, maar volgende keer maak ek defnitief seker ek maak beter benut van die fantastiese huisie. Ek het onmiddellik so "tuis" gevoel toe ek daar instap. So smaakvol toegerus met alles wat 'n vrou benodig. Dankie Pieter.
