We do however take bookings for families once groups has booked and will inform you as a family that there will be a group here so its up to you if you will be comfortable with it .

Pennington Beach Resort is situated 500 m from the beach in Pennington, on the KwaZulu-Natal South Coast.

All accommodation is self-catering and surrounded by beautiful indigenous trees. Groups are most welcome. Linen is provided for the chalets and guests only need to bring their own towels. The chalets have their own braai area, a TV with local channels and the kitchens are fully equipped. Two of the chalets are equipped with DStv, but guests need to bring their own decoder or hire one from the office. Most chalets have beautiful, partial sea views. The ablution facilities are shared between the camp site, hostel and the lodge.

The lodge is set up away from all the other units and the main building. It consists of a kitchen, an open-plan roofed area, and a sundeck. One bedroom sleeps four and is separate from the main building. Another bigger bedroom leads from the main building and sleeps eight people. Two teenagers or children can also sleep in the loft bedroom. The two main bedrooms have their own bathrooms. Electricity is available to the seven camp sites.

The hostel is situated completely separate from the rest of the resort. The dormitory offers eight rooms and a kitchen. A dining room is available with separate ablutions for men and ladies. The kitchen is fully equipped and caters for up to 66 people. Guests need to bring their own bedding and towels.

Pennington Beach offers many activities including a pool table, volleyball, table tennis and darts. The area offers a wide range of entertainment from golf courses only three minutes away at Selbourne and Umdoni, fishing along the coast or deep sea fishing, diving or snorkeling as well as hiking trails or scenic flights.

Full conference facilities are available with tariffs on request.
Wall climbing, a zip line and kayaking can be booked at the office for church, school and university groups.
