  "I have to say being in a town like Phalaborwa I had expected the worst as I did in a racist town of Musina a few years ago.I got a very nice wholehearted welcomewith a smile.The surroundings there were just fabulous. i felt I could just extend my stay over there. I will definitely return there when I visit Phalaborwa, as this was not my last trip."

  "My family and I were desperate to book into the Kruger Park in December, but because it was fully booked we were "forced" to look outside the park - Wow!!! Are we glad that happened, We absolutely loved our two nights at Sunbird, Dave was an amazing host and created such a relaxed atmosphere and overfed us at the amazing breakfasts that he provided for us. Nothing was too much for him and his staff during our brief stay and they met all our needs and more. We look forward to returning!!!"

  "Being from Joburg I really enjoyed the fresh air and the traffic free roads, my stay was refreshing would go back anytime. The place is 5min drive from the Kruger Park which was/is the main attraction, I mean come on what more could one ask for."

  "I booked the trip for my parents and they absolutely loved their stay. Sam and Dave were helpful and most important, friendly. The place is homey, according to my parents.The booking experience was exceptional. I had prompt replies to all my questions, was given suggestions on everything I needed. My parents were arriving from Zimbabwe and Dave offered to pick them up from the bus-stop. I will be in SA in the next few weeks and I know where I'll be staying. Sunbird Lodge with Sam and Dave."

  "We stayed with our family of 5 (children 2,3 and 7 yrs old) at the Sunbird Lodge for 3 nights. Large rooms and easy to access to the Kruger park (ca.1km). Dave and Sam who run the business are extremely helpful and provide a lot of good advice for places to go and things to see. Especially the boat trip on the river with on board dining was good. The lodge is also conveniently situated to visit Gods Window, Pilgrims rest etc. on a day trip or to or from Joburg like we did. We can absolutely recommend it to others. "

  "About my stay at Sunbird Lodge-Wonderfull!!!! Sam & Dave were lovely hosts and so friendly. We had a nice chat. The place is neat and clean and comfortable. We also enjoyed a lovely breakfast. I would definitely recommend them to anyone and the only regret I have is that I couldn't stay longer to enjoy the peace and tranquility. But I will be back!!"
