Philippolis Lodge

Philippolis Lodge welcomes you to Philippolis from the Colesberg side. Three well-equipped rondavals will comfortably accommodate you, while they may not be self-catering, there is a restaurant on the premises where delicious meals are to be had.

For those hot summer seasons the lodge has a swimming pool that visitors are more than welcome to use. While to cool oneself from the inside, the lodge also has a bar.

The historical town of Philippolis is renowned for its warm hospitality and cheerful atmosphere. Voortrekker Street; where the lodge is situated has an abundance of historical buildings including the Trans-Gariep Museum as well as the Victorian Jacobson Library

There is a lot to do in the town as well as its surrounds. The Orange River runs between the Waterkloof Dam and the Gariep Dam and has great fishing opportunities.
