  • "we booked.......and it was closed"

    24 March 2013

"We arrived at the B&B....nobody was there, willing to open for us! No information was given, just a cell number on a sign. We called and a lady told us that the guesthouse was closed for this weekend, the owner had gone for a holiday....happy us! We were moved to the guesthouse Holme Lea Manor of the same owner and accomodated in a shortly painted room. A bad night was to follow and in the morning we felt like being poisoned by all the solvents of the paint. In addition we were told that there will not be a breakfast on sunday morning - "we never do breakfast on sundays"...we were provided with a breakfast-pack, not even eatable for us. Never again."
