  "Dirty linen. Blocked shower drain and a very dirty shower. On top of it, unhelpful office staff. So we cut our stay short, slept one night and checked out."

  "We had a wonderful stay at 15 harbour, with friendly security personnel on guard, the apartment is closer to prime holiday spots and mostly we walked instead of driving.The establishment must however consider fumigation as we encountered several cockroaches and that was very discomforting."

  "Good Day The day of arrival the employee that was suppose to give us the key was smelling of alcohol while he was working.There is no secure parking as for all other cars are parked in secure parking and your car is parked out side this area. The bedding was so dirty and was smelling to pee. The shower don't have any door on.The place opens with electronic key cards. The first day the card was opening the door. The second day the card was blocked. After calling the employee who supplied the key he said that the card was programmed wrong and he cant fix it .leaving us to call him every time we left the apartment and come back. this is very poor as for you pay for the room and now you need to phone every time you want to enter the room."

  "The flat is a walk away from Ushaka which was ideal. The are a few downsides to the flat that can be improved, the bedding could have been in a better condition as well as the sleeper couch, the DSTV had very limited channels so the kids were quite bored. We were told that the garbage would be collected daily and it was not. We advised the managing agent that there is a leak under the sink in the cupboard and were told that they would send someone which never happened."

  "The room smelled like its been wet for a year n no one did a clean up and let the fresh air in, the curtain rails in the bedroom was falling off, really? we paid so much for such? and the bed was full of bugs and we were unable to sleep the 1st night, can you please maintain your rooms? the sheets on the bed was a disaster!! Am i going to come back? HELL NO!"

  "<p>This experience taught me that it is important to read reviews of the establishment beforebooking. I would not advise anyone to use this establishment ever. My visit wasthe past weekend 6 to 8 May 2016. I do not know where to even begin because thewhole place is filthy. The apartment is unhygienic It smells like acigarret/smoking bar. The bed and bed linen was washed but still has bloodstains, that was disgusting. Never in my life have I experienced such filth.luckily i brought my throws and used them as bedding. The couches smells likesome old clothes that were locked in a closet for donkey years. The smell is sobad that even opening windows overnight does not help. We had to eat outbecause of the awful smell. There is a brown sofa that when you sit on, fullyclothed your whole body starts iching. Clearly it has lice or some sort ofbugs. I had to quickly run to the shower to wash the itchiness off. The showerdoes not drain water you have to wait about 15min before the other person goesin. There is no DSTV remote, the tv operates as and when it wants. I calledDarryn the owner he referred me to the property management to report the linen.My husband thought it is pointless as they know and tried to cover the stainsin corners where they thought we will not see. The walls are dirty, you caneven spot some dirt left by previous visitors like sea shell and an a bit ofsand in floor corners. I wish this guy will take this establishment seriouslyand maitain it as it has potential of being decent for humans to frequentlyuse.<o:p></o:p></p>"

  "<p>On arrival we collected the key and found our designated parking as described. The apartment was clean, modern and well maintained. The security is good, as is the location. </p><p>Unfortunately, different to other self caterings I have stayed in, there was no coffee/tea/sugar provided, no toilet paper, (we were told to bring this however), no dish wash liquid, no soaps or shower gel. Having arrived late at night this was an issue, as I then had to find a late night shop to buy these basics. These items would be a nice touch, especially at the price. </p><p>The aircon is extremely noisy, and the curtains do not cover the tops of the windows or black out the street lights, so the room is not very dark at night.</p><p>But still, we had a good stay there.</p><p></p>"

  "<p>The flat is in a great area. Nice and quite. We felt quite safe as well. The security is good and helpful. The kitchen is well equipped too.</p><p>However, we found the place was not properly cleaned. The first night was awful, we had to fight off large cockroaches off our bed. My child was traumatized! The sleeping couch was horrible, the springs are not working so its like sleeping in a big hole. It needs to be fumigated as well, it has mites. the shower door is broken, with broken glass in the shower.</p><p>Generally, the place needs some attention, a good spring clean, and refurnishing.</p>"

  "Not what we expected at all. The flat has expensive equipment (fridge, dish washer) but the flat has an overall "run down" feeling to it, i.e. dirty walls, missing towel railings, missing light fittings, no shower door, aircon does not work etc. Also facing busy main street which is not mentioned in the ad. Parked in allocated parking lot and had some sort of acid dripping from the pipes on my car - has permanent paint damage because of this."

  "It's a great place to stay in since it is closer to attractions like Shaka Marine World. I was disappointed with the sleeper couch where my kids was supposed to sleep. It is an old sleeper couch with an old mattress, it must be changed as it is uncomfortable to sleep on it and it smells funny. The cleaners seems to be missing a lot of spots when they clean, we had to clean ourselves when we got there. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay, the securities are very helpful."

  "One light in the kitchen, one in the bathroom and a bedside light were not working. There is a light fitting missing in the dressing area. The walls in the bedroom & sitting room/passage are really dirty and full of scratch marks. There were two, very thin, old towels with stain marks on them – at least 4 should have been provided as there is no washing machine in the flat. It looks like the basin is “blocked” as there was often a sewerage smell and the water takes for ever to go down, this resulting in a permanent dirty basin. There were 4 wire hangers in the cupboard all skew and broken, making it very difficult and almost impossible to hang anything up. The lid of one smaller pot I used one night is broken, you need to use a knife to lift it! The curtains in the bedroom should really get a thick block out as it is impossible to sleep in the evening with the streetlights shining into the room. You will need to change the battery of your remote as it was playing up the last few days. Lastly, for what it is worth it, the place is incredibly noisy, with trucks, cars driving at all hours of day and night, I could not believe the “jack hammer” going crazy on Sunday afternoon! One positive point – the security guys were very friendly and helpful at all time (specially with the gate not opening), specially Lucky and your bedding was clean and fresh! I have been in tourism myself for about 20 years and really feel the following should have been checked and sorted out prior to renting it out at R800.00 per day."
