Gold Creek Ranch

Gold Creek Private Ranch is situated just a stone's throw away from the Eerstelling gold mine, which was the first commercial gold mining site in South Africa, erected in 1873. The Post Office that was build in 1887 is still standing at the entrance of the ranch. The ranch has many quarts veins, rich in gold, running through our lush bushveld area and hence where our name originated from. Still today we have prospectors visiting the ranch to pan for gold. The ranch is located in the Limpopo Province and just a 20-minute drive from Polokwane, and a 3-hour drive from Johannesburg.

Gold Creek Private Ranch is perfect for family gatherings, small conferences and for enjoying the bushveld and all its spenders. Our ranch has more than 10 different antelope species, leopards, giraffes and zebra. Our destination is also ideal for bird watching and hikes along the creek. Gold Creek Private Ranch has 3 chalets at the Lodge and a private bush camp that sleeps 25 people. We offer guided Game Drives & Walks for all our guests. Kindly book in advance. Groups of 5 - 9 people.
